Making Your Appointment
  • All clients are important, that's why we require everyone to schedule their appointment in advance.  We will do our best to schedule an appointment that is most convenient for you. However, our schedule will fill up quickly.  It is best to allow enough time when making your appointment as our availability becomes limited.  We will not accept Walk-In Appointments.
  • Saturdays are always a popular day to schedule.  If you would like a Saturday appointment, it is best to schedule 6-8 weeks in advance - if available.
  • After the Groupon or Living Social  goes live, as well as, several weeks prior to the expiration date, our phone will be very busy receiving calls and making appointments.  If you don't get through on the first try please leave a message with your name, callback number, type of service and your Groupon Voucher number located underneath the bar-code, and we will return your call promptly.
  • Living Social clients only need to leave full name or name of person who purchased coupon, email address, cell number and best days and times to book appointment
  • When you call please have your Groupon voucher number at the bottom of the bar code available, and have in mind several available times for your appointment*.

*We will have several blackout dates throughout the year where no appointments will be available, listed at the bottom of this page. Please note these dates when considering your appointment especially towards the expiration date. 

The Day of Your Appointment
  • Be sure to arrive slightly before your scheduled appointment, about 5 minutes. To allow ample time for you to fill out the consultation form, a brief consultation with your Massage Therapist, to use the restroom, and then settle in to your session.
  • On Saturdays we run back to back appointments, so you will need to arrive 5 -10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and  use the bathroom. If you are late it will reflect in your massage being cut.  
  • If you are running late to your scheduled appointment, we cannot extend the time of your session.  We ask that you allow enough time for you to find us, or for traffic delays.  If you are fifteen minutes late or more we will have to reschedule your appointment for another day.

  • If you cannot make your appointment, we ask that you call to cancel and reschedule. If you do not call to cancel your appointment, your voucher will be considered REDEEMED, and you will only be able to apply the amount of the voucher as an in-store credit. So please call or text  us @ 757.534.8056.
  • We will need the Number located under the bar-code on your Groupon voucher to secure the appointment. 
  • Please bring your voucher on the day of your appointment.

Appointment Policies
  • In no way is any form of Sexual impropriety ever tolerated. This includes but is not limited to: innuendos, suggestive comments or questions, conversation, inappropriate exposure, and inappropriate touch. This will result in the immediate termination of the session with full payment expected.  In extreme cases, Sexual Impropriety may be reported to the local authorities as solicitation.

  • Draping is always required in all sessions unless your are receiving services completely clothed or Ashiatsu, which requires minimal draping and you must sign a waiver.  Draping is the process where you remain securely and modestly covered throughout your entire service, while the Therapist only uncovers the area they are working on.  Draping is strictly enforced with absolutely no exceptions.

  • An appointment is required to receive services to ensure that your time spent with us will remain relaxing and stress-free.  We do not accept Walk-In appointments, but will take a same day appointment if one is available.  We book quickly so it is best to make your appointment in advance. Please allow 24-48 hours for weekday appointments and 1 to 2 weeks for Saturday appointments. 

  • A $25 Cancellation Fee may apply to an appointment not Cancelled or Rescheduled within 24- Hours of your scheduled appointment time and your Groupon will be redeemed.  If charged, you will be asked to settle your account before rescheduling or receiving additional services.  Confirmation and Reminder emails will be sent as a courtesy.

  • If you are 15 minutes late or more, please be aware that you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a different time or day.  If you are under 15 minutes late you will only receive the time left remaining on your service.

  • Please be aware that we will abide by all contraindications and health regulations. If  Massage is contraindicated (not advised) for a particular health condition or injury, Massage will not be preformed.  If you are currently under Doctors' care for any reason, a written release from your Doctor may be required before receiving services.  Your Health is always our first concern.

  • Prenatal Services will only be preformed after the completion of the First Trimester with written consent from your Doctor or Midwife.  The same applies during your 9th month of pregnancy. There will be no exceptions.

  • Children under 17 must have Parents signature before receiving Massage. We do not provide services for children under the age of 12 and parent must accompany in the room.

Purchase Policies
  • All sales on services and product are final. Product can not be returned or exchanged once purchased.  Services may be exchanged or upgraded to a different service of equal or greater value unless otherwise stated.

  • There is a five year expiration on all Pre-Purchased services and Gift Certificates unless otherwise stated.  This includes roll-over and unused Membership services.   Expired Vouchers may be used as in-store credit towards non-discounted services only. 

  • Promotional Specials and Discounts may not be combined or substituted and must be surrendered the day of your appointment before the service takes place. 

  • Gift Certificates must be booked, and surrendered on the day of appointment unless the Gift Certificate is assigned to the recipient and the services have been applied the the recipients account.  Gift Certificates cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash value.  

  • There is a $25 fee on all returned checks

Couples Massage are unable to be performed at present time until further notice.  I am in the process of hiring another therapist to help  but it takes times, so I can not say when I will be able to do couples massages at this time.  Your only other option is to get back to back appointments if they are available.  I apologize for any inconvenience in advance.

The Groupons are single session massage, as a courtesy if we can we will allow a couples massage.

There is a couples room fee that applies based on $10 per 30 minutes fee, which means:

$20 for a 60 mins couples

$30 for a 90 mins couples

Other than that  we do offer same time in different rooms at no extra charge.

Our Fridays & Saturdays are starting to book up pretty fast.  From our experience we will quickly get booked from now until the Expiration Day. If you would like to wait for a Friday or Saturday appointment to become available, we can put you on our Wait List.

Groupon Voucher Fine Print
  • All Appointments are subject to Availability.
  • We do not refund Groupon vouchers, nor will we buy them back.
  • We may not offer the same Special after the Groupon sale closes. 
  • This is a single session massage and cannot be combined as a couples massage.  But if a therapist, date and time is available, we will allow it as a courtesy.  There will be an extra price that will apply to the couples massage to be paid in advance of the massage session.  We do offer same time in different rooms.  Limited Availability 
  • Often we will be booked many weeks in advance.  We will have a waiting list for cancellations.  
  • If your Groupon Voucher expires, you may still use the Valued amount as in-store credit for services only. 
  • Not valid towards in store products.  

House Policies
  • Please step lightly and use Library voices when entering the clinic as Massages may be in session.  We try to maintain a calm, quiet environment for all of our clients.

  • The use of Cell Phones is not permitted inside the clinic or on the outside porches.  We ask everyone to silence their cellphones upon entering VA Massage

  •  We are not responsible for any lost items, or anything left behind.  Anything that is left behind will be collected and kept at the Front Desk.

Things To Remember

  • It is a good idea to come clean and refreshed, and to wear something comfortable on the day of your appointment. 

  • Eating a heavy meal is not recommended prior to your session, as it can make you feel sick.

  • Do not consume alcohol prior to your session, massage will increase your circulation and your toxicity.

  • Make enough time to use the restroom (located downstairs) before your session begins, it's never fun to have to interrupt your service for a bathroom break.

  • Please keep cell phones on silent or off mode during your session.

  • Drink plenty of water before and after your session to rehydrate and prevent soreness.

  • If you can, rest after your session. This will extend the benefits of the massage.

  • There may be some soreness after an  Therapeutic or Deep Tissue Session.  This should be minor to moderate soreness, if you experience a great deal of soreness contact us immediately.
